Special Issue ‘Hydroclimatic Extremes and Impacts in a Changing Environment: Observations, Mechanisms, and Projections’ aims at gathering the most significant contributions to theoretical development and scientific advancement relating to hydroclimatic extremes and impacts. The contributions to this Special Issue will encompass a broad spectrum of topics, including, but not limited to:

Investigation of hydroclimatic extremes using observations and reanalysis productsTechnological advances in hydroclimatic observationsUnderlying mechanisms causing hydroclimatic extremesClimate change impacts on hydroclimatic regimes and extremesConsequences of hydroclimatic extremes and resilience planningCompound events and extreme impactsImprovement of hydroclimatic projectionsUncertainty quantification of projected hydroclimatic variables
